The Ridgewater Men's and Women's basketball teams participated in the MN West Classic this past weekend.
On Friday the men defeated Northwestern JV by a score of 109-104. Aiden Wichmann led the Warriors with 27 points and DeAndre Holloway added 18 points and 11 rebounds. Saturday, they defeated Dort JV by a score of 107-86. DeAndre Holloway led the Warriors with 21 points and 11 rebounds while Keagen Shrider had 20 points. Aiden Wichmann and Tyrese Mayo each added 14 points.
Friday the women lost to Dort JV 79-59. The Warriors were led by Kaydence Bertram with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Grace Jackson and Nevaeh Rahm each added 10 points. Saturday the women fell to MN West 71-61. Lily Dean led the Warriors with 15 points while Kaydence Bertram chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds, 5 steals and 4 assists. Julia Hines (12 points) and Grace Jackson (11 points) each contributed double digits in the scoring collum.
